Angie Pickman

Angie Pickman is a nationally recognised cut paper artist and animator based in Kansas, working under the name Rural Pearl. Angie combines the meticulous craft of traditional silhouette paper cutting with collage techniques to create intricate, layered fine art that celebrates nature and folklore. She hand-cuts charcoal drawing paper, vibrant art tissue, and recycled maps using a craft knife, then layers them onto wood panels or backing boards.
